Three young women find solace and community within the walls of a small, vibrant center in Via Le Chiuse. As they navigate life's challenges, they share their stories of change and acceptance, finding strength in the shared experiences of their fellow residents. Through the lens of their unique perspectives, the film explores the power of human connection and the importance of supporting one another.

Women at the Center is the result of an artistic residency at Ruta Summer Film School, where the filmmakers had the opportunity to experiment and develop their vision while being mentored and supported by industry professionals. The collaborative project was shot, edited, and released in three months.
About the Co-Director
Teresa Bucca is a multidisciplinary artist based in Florence and Milan. Her work spans video, sound, photography, and writing, often exploring themes of landscape and staged imagery. She graduated in Directing from the Civica Scuola di Cinema Luchino Visconti.
About Ruta Summer Film School
The school's mission is to train young filmmakers in creating environmentally conscious films that raise awareness about climate change. Ruta emphasizes sustainable practices throughout the filmmaking process, from production to post-production.
